Summer Camp Program
Our Summer Camp Program is an integration of educational/tutorial assistance along with unique and exciting learning experiences designed to help diminish the academic skills regression that often occurs over the summer months.
Participants enjoy lots of recreational and community inclusion related activities, where the children are given the opportunity to experience and see firsthand the important role that they play in our community. Children are provided supervised time and interactions with positive adult role models/mentors, who provide guidance and support in an environment where they can “be themselves” and feel respected.

What’s it all about?
Adult Day Training (ADT) programs offer opportunities for adults 18 years of age and older to obtain or improve their skills and knowledge. The program staff encourages participants to access activities and relationships of their choice. Our ADT program offers educational games and activities, community outings, plenty of opportunities for socialization, training in
pre-vocational skills, as well as a computer lab and sensory stimulation area. Many of our ADT clients volunteer at local businesses honing their employment skills.
The Arc partners with the United Way of St. Lucie County and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to offer an innovative Vocational Training Program for students and adults with disabilities. This class is taught by our Supported Employment Specialists. The classes teach the individuals important skills to prepare them for job placement including computer training, literacy skills, social skills, and on-the-job experience.
